Employment Practices

Tracking pay Scale for gender Equity

As part of its commitment to fostering a fair and inclusive workplace, Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) actively measures and monitors gender pay equity across its workforce, guided by Rector’s Decree No. 52/UN3/2020 on payroll standards. This policy reflects UNAIR’s dedication to transparency, ensuring equal compensation for staff and faculty based on their roles, qualifications, and workload, irrespective of gender.

Transparent Compensation Monitoring System

To ensure accessible and transparent earning tracking, UNAIR has established two main platforms for staff:

  • Finance Directorate Honorarium Reports: Each employee receives regular email updates detailing their honorarium reports, making it easy to monitor and verify their compensation.
  • Cybercampus App’s ‘Info Honor’ Section: This online platform provides a detailed breakdown of individual income, allowing employees to view their compensation statistics, bonuses, and other honorarium details in real-time Rector’s Decree No. 52/UN3/2020 on Payroll Standards.

Regular Gender-Based Salary Reviews

The Human Resources Department conducts regular reviews of payroll data to track salary equity across genders. By comparing compensation for similar roles and workloads, UNAIR actively identifies and addresses any discrepancies that may arise. If a gender-based gap is detected, corrective action is promptly implemented to ensure fair compensation.

Through this structured and transparent approach to gender pay equity, UNAIR reaffirms its commitment to fostering a workplace that values and supports equal opportunities for all staff members.
