Elected representation
Universitas Airlangga elects representatives from lecturers, staff, and faculty to its highest governing body through The Board of Trustees, including six Academic Senate members and one lecturer. Its independently evaluates university audits with the Audit Committee. Furthermore, the elected representatives (Rector, Vice Rector, Dean, and faculty members from both professor and non-professor lecturers) serve as members of the Academic Senate responsible for determining, considering, and supervising the implementation of academic policies within the university. Meanwhile, 15 deans and 2 directors are appointed for faculties. To increase international engagement we assign our students as Faculty Ambassadors representation for each faculty which is regulated in Rector’s Decree number 248/UN3/2020 through the annual elections of the Student Representative Council and Student Executive Board.
