SDG 15: Life On Land

Airlangga University actively encourages the preservation and use of natural landscapes, including forests and wilderness areas. Student community service program collaborated with colleagues from various countries in the International Community Services (ICS) event. We educated local residents about the importance of sustainable environmental management while raising international awareness about Alas Mendiro ecotourism and Wonosalam conservation. Additionally, with the Association of Local Public Broadcasting Institutions, we held an event discussing the Social Forestry Program aiming to engage the communities living in and around forests with sustainable forest use and management. We are also contributing to conservation and reforestation on mountain’s hillsides.
