Universitas Airlangga measures and tracks the water reuse annually across the university buildings which aligns with sustainability goals. Recorded in 2022, as much as 150,259 cubic meters of water has been reused, sourced from processed rainwater, and treated wastewater from mosques. the wastewater treatment system is used for recyling water for non-drinking purposes, including toilet flushing, irrigation, and cooling systems. Those practices benefit us to reduce costs, but most importantly to enhance our environmental sustainability and offer educational and research opportunities.
