Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) has been corporated with various levels of government, both locally and globally, to address water security challenges. For example, through our Faculty of Science and Technology, we conducted an International Community Service (ICS) program in partnership with UI Green Metric, Jombang Environmental Service, and UNAIR SDGs Center. This program included activities related to water management, water conservation, and waste management, benefiting both local residents and international students. Additionally, in collaboration with the Surabaya Government , our students majoring in Public Health have successfully addressed sanitation issues, resulting in Surabaya being designated as an open defecation-free area, and we have played a vital role in promoting smoking-free zones in our city . These initiatives highlight our commitment to addressing water security concerns in cooperation with various government levels.
