Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) applies sustainable building and water conservation , adopting practices to significantly minimize our environmental footprint. In supporting that, We have incorporated automation to decrease water consumption throughout our campus facilities. Modern building systems are designed to optimize water efficiency, integrating rainwater harvesting systems and bio-pore installations . Furthermore, water saving method has been implemented through automatic faucets and water recycling system for toilets, ensuring lower consumption without compromising functionality. In certain buildings, we place a rain-harvesting system to reuse it for non-drinking needs aligning with the Green Campus policy number 1050/UN3/2021. These standards reflect our commitment to environmental stewardship. By integrating these principles into our infrastructure, UNAIR reaffirms our dedication to a water-conscious and environmentally resilient campus.
