In maximizing water reuse, Decree’s Regulation number 1837/UN3/2018 was formed as our commitment to be responsible in water management and conservation through rainwater harvesting initiatives. The rainwater harvesting system supports water needs for all campus facilities including nourishing our gardens and for wastewater processing using our Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). The recycled water from STP has also enriched our landscapes and optimized the toilet systems accross all faculty buildings within Universitas Airlangga. This forward-thinking approach demonstrates our steadfast commitment to sustainability , environmental guardianship, and wise resource utilization. Through these actions, UNAIR aims to reduce its environmental impact and create a more eco-friendly, resilient campus atmosphere.
