In promoting conscious water usage throughout university, Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) applies water-saving appliances and conducts campaigns and educational programs for students. Water-efficient fixtures we install include low-flow toilets, automatic faucets and taps in order to reduce water consumption. We also conduct awareness campaigns and educational programs for students and staff about responsible water usage. In collaboration with Saxion University of Applied Sciences, our Science and Technology faculty held a discussion regarding implementation of clean water management in Indonesia and the Netherlands, including learning from their water management and control. Furthermore, education on clean water processing for household needs and installation of water reservoirs was delivered in the Smile Village, Kediri by our postgraduate students as our community outreach program.
