Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) has a plan to minimize physical, chemical, and biological alteration of related aquatic ecosystems through Guidelines for Managing an Environmentally Friendly Campus (Green Campus), in Rector’s Decree Number 2094/UN3/2016. UNAIR also regulates efforts to prevent and protect marine and land ecosystems from damage through Circular Letter Number 326/UN3/HM/2021. In point 1, it explains UNAIR’s efforts to increase education, research, and community service activities related to saving and restoring marine ecosystems, including increasing activities to save and restore marine ecosystems by preventing and reducing the marine pollution, carrying out conservation activities and wise use of marine resources, and preventing and reducing the marine pollution. UNAIR has a Waste Water Management Installation through a Sewage Treatment Plant, consisting of six steps that have two primary purposes, including flushing toilets and irrigation plants used in university.
