Local community outreach for energy efficiency

Airlangga University regularly hosts educational programs on energy efficiency and clean energy. In rural areas where electricity is not accessible, we conducted training on how to assemble solar power plants (solar panels). In another small island, Gili Iyang Madura, we help the local community to develop a wind power generation system (PLTB) for electricity sources. Until now, it is used for street lighting and to support the irrigation system in the village. The AirFeel version 3, known as AF5 and AF7 have also been introduced to several villages as a tool for monitoring weather conditions and measuring air quality levels. This tool functions to support the clean water availability for families.
