Upgrade buildings to higher energy efficiency
Airlangga University has an annual plan for achieving energy efficiency upgrading. The Rector Decree Number 1074/UN3/2021 organized our energy-saving policy, while Decree Number 1050/UN3/2021 elaborates on its Green Campus initiative. We also implement the smart building procedures detailed in Decree Number PP-UNAIR-MUN-01-17. For our improvement, a significant upgrade has been done to building facilities and infrastructure, including solar panels installation as renewable energy source, LED lighting and sensor taps transition, current sensors for energy metering, and automated resource management systems. Smart lighting control and integrated LED lights with motion sensors are also used in buildings. We have also maximized our rooftop as a green space.
