Student Access Measures

Women's access schemes

As our women access scheme, the Griya Khadijah Scholarship Program enhances female students from underprivileged backgrounds both within and outside UNAIR by providing dormitory facilities, financial assistance, mentoring, and a development program. We have a program called “Keputrian” that focuses on providing training and mentoring programs to upskill female students. We also offer study programs in the Faculty of Science and Technology as well as the Faculty of Advanced and Multidisciplinary Technology that are open to female applicants while the field of engineering in Indonesia is predominantly male-dominated. The 2022 International Summer Program, in partnership with international students, Tirta Ayu Spa, and Gresik Women School held a mentoring session through entrepreneurial skills for women, especially those working as online drivers in Surabaya. It also extended its reaching out to women batik artisans through community service, and workshops benefiting communities in Batik Village.
