Policies protecting those reporting discrimination

Universitas Airlangga is committed to ensuring the protection of individuals who report instances of discrimination within the university through Rector’s Decree Number 25 of 2019. It provides guidelines for handling complaints from informants. Circular Letter Number 162/UN3/HM/2022 further reinforces the university’s stance against discrimination within its community . It affirms that the university safeguards whistleblowers of discrimination from facing any educational or occupational disadvantages. Also, the university has established a user-friendly whistleblowing platform accessible through the website. The university places the highest priority on maintaining the confidentiality of all information shared. This platform empowers individuals to report any wrongdoing that not only results in losses but also poses a threat to society. Through this system, the confidentiality and security of the personal information are guaranteed, creating a secure environment for them to come forward.
