SDG 16:  Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions

In giving advice to local, regional, and national governments, we support it by allocating our experts from our faculties. During our audience with Surabaya Government, we invited our experts from Faculty of Economics and Business in conveying several points of policy recommendations related to the realization of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget. It aims to improve the education quality in Surabaya, including renovating facilities using the collaborating opportunity between the government, institutions, and stakeholders. Besides, our lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business participated in policy-making for poverty alleviation from an academic perspective, especially expanding access to digital financial services. It was presented at the Digital Financing Inclusion Summit, part of the G20 Indonesia 2022 agenda, aiming to help vulnerable and economically marginalized groups to be more actively involved in the rapid economic growth in Indonesia.
