SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions

Airlangga University ensures that local stakeholders at the university include local residents, local government, and civil society representatives and are responsible for making decisions. The Board of Trustees of Universitas Airlangga consists of a minister, the rector, six people from the Academic Senate, one lecturer, one educational personnel member, and 11 people representing the public. The duties and authorities are to set and deliberate the implementation of general policies. It is including establishing general policies on the administration of Unair, affirming the proposed amendment to our Law, conducting the annual evaluation of the performance, striving to fulfill financing needs in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and addressing problems that other committees failed to do so based on their respective authorities. This shows that the Board of Trustees holds the highest power in decision making at the university.
