Participation in government research
Airlangga University collaborates with the government in conducting policy-focused research. Collaborating with the Ministry of National Development Planning, the Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investments, and the UK Energy Research Center, we discussed providing policy recommendations related to climate change. We formulated the National Research Consortium as an independent recommendation body that focuses on efforts to prevent the climate crisis. This consortium is expected to encourage government policies related to climate crisis mitigation to be more ambitious in an effort to achieve Indonesia’s zero emissions target by 2050.
