SDG 13: Climate Action  

Airlangga University actively collaborates with NGOs on climate adaptation and mitigation initiatives. Our postgraduate students organized disaster risk management training in Mojokerto attended by 225 volunteers from the Indonesian Inter-Democratic Radio (RAPI), with the specific purpose of providing education and training for effective disaster response and adaptation. Furthermore, we hosted the Airlangga Climate Fest International Webinar Series in 2022. This webinar series brought together various stakeholders, including government agencies, climate change experts, international universities, and the NGO “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Waste Management Site” from Banyuwangi. The primary objective of this event was to raise public awareness about climate change across diverse sectors.
