Climate Action Plan, shared

In supporting SDG 13, Universitas Airlangga’s climate plan is to be net zero-carbon campus by 2030. We set plan to reduce at least half of the operational emissions within 5 years, and to be net zero campus in 7 years. Our commitment is stated on policy number 133/UN3/HM/2021 addressing the climate action plan. In this plan, it regulates the efforts to reduce carbon emissions, reduce energy consumption, and increase green open space in UNAIR. Additionally, we actively contribute in the Indonesian University Climate Conference to succeed in achieving Indonesia’s zero emission target in 2050. We help to create and establish the Regulatory Governance focusing on renewable energy sources. We are also part of the National Research Consortium aiming to conduct climate crisis prevention.
