Airlangga University is committed to managing the environment sustainably regulated in letter number 326/UN3/HM/2021. This policy is the basis of the campus’ commitment to supporting the preservation, restoration and sustainable management of terrestrial ecosystems on and off campus. We engage in conservation efforts and the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems as well as campus forests (point c). We also create reforestation programs by empowering students to actively participate in maintaining various tree species, including the Yellow Palm, the native Regu Palm, and the ecologically important Calathea. However, vertical gardens have been built throughout our faculty buildings for innovative and sustainable landscape design.
