SDG 15: Life On Land

Universitas Airlangga has implemented sustainability policy (327/UN3/HM/2021) that oversees the entire process of food production on campus. This comprehensive policy is designed to ensure the sustainable farming of resources, prioritizing their preservation to prevent any potential threat of extinction. It encompasses a range of strategic measures, including stringent monitoring of farming practices and the implementation of innovative techniques to minimize the environmental impact. It also highlights the priority of purchasing food supplied from local farmers to ensure the economic sustainability. Other than that, we are making efforts to ensure that our egg supplies come from cage free chickens as our commitment to ethical farming.
