SDG 17:  Partnerships for the Goals

Regarding the outreach program, we conducted several sessions with the help of alumni and local communities. For SDG 3, Faculty of Medicine (FK) is at the forefront of a health-focused community service initiative that covers 109 locations across Indonesia. Key aspects of this program include efforts to reduce stunting, provide comprehensive prenatal care—including offering ultrasounds for expecting mothers—and raising awareness about the impacts of excessive gadget usage on children. This initiative is strengthened by the knowledge and experience of 20 specialized doctors, who graduated from the Class of ’94 at FK UNAIR. They bring expertise in various areas, from pediatrics and obstetrics to pulmonary care. Working closely with local Health Services, our specialists, in collaboration with general practitioners, share their valuable insights and skills with the community. This program demonstrates our support in addressing stunting and maternal mortality.
