SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) extends to outsourced services and the supply chain through the Sustainable Procurement Policy that is regulated in Circular Letter Number 472/UN3/HM/2022. We have established stringent criteria for selecting suppliers, with a focus on those equipped with recognized sustainable policies and certifications. Our commitment to sustainability also involves strategic partnerships with industries that are actively involved in sustainable procurement practices. To minimize our environmental footprint, we reduce the use of paper, cards, printer inks, and other potentially environmentally damaging materials. We also prioritize purchasing sustainable goods from local producers and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
