Policy Addressing Poverty
The Policy Addressing Poverty is a critical component of the SDG 1, which aims to end poverty in all its forms everywhere. This indicator encompasses a range of strategies and initiatives implemented by Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) and governments to alleviate poverty.
Airlangga University collaborates with development agencies, to share our expertise and research findings to address poverty. We created some policies to assist Madiun community, focusing on residents upskilling and knowledge to increase the local economy. We have also participated in the Digital Financing Inclusion Summit which highlights the impact of digital financial inclusion as a driver of economic recovery, expanding access to financial services such as banking, insurance, and investment. Our academic assists local authorities’ efforts in formulating impactful strategies for alleviating poverty.
