Low or Lower-Middle Income Countries Student Support
Low or lower-middle income countries often face significant challenges in providing educational opportunities for students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) has implemented targeted support programs to help these students succeed academically and overcome financial barriers.
Our commitment to helping students from low-income countries is very commendable. The Airlangga Development Scholarship, Developing Country Partnership Scholarship, and Airlangga Post-Doctoral Fellowship demonstrate strong dedication in providing financial and educational support to international students from low income countries. Additionally, the allocation of education and research grants in 2022 confirms the commitment to supporting students from low and lower middle income countries. Thus, providing scholarships to students from underprivileged developing countries can have a far-reaching positive impact, helping to create a more just, inclusive and educated world.
