Local Start Up Financial Assistance
Local start-up financial assistance refers to programs and initiatives implemented by Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) to provide financial support to local start-ups and small businesses who start their sustainable businesses. These programs aim to foster entrepreneurship and economic development within the community by offering various forms of assistance.
Since 2016, Universitas Airlangga has allocated an annual grant an amount of IDR 9.75 billion for the SME sector and cooperative businesses. This financial assistance is a grant received by UNAIR from the Indonesian State Revolving Fund Management Institute. The financial assistance for local business benefits for both parties. We take advantage of the business for our students to be jobs offered for their early career journey. Additionally, the grant becomes the bridge between the business and key stakeholders for economic growth and collaboration.
