Bottom Financial Quintile Student Success
The students from the bottom financial quintile , often referred to as low-income or economically disadvantageous students, face significant challenges that impact their educational success. Despite these are pathways and strategies that can enhance their academic outcomes.
Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) is fully committed to ensuring the academic success and graduation of students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. We have set specific graduation/completion targets for students who fall into the bottom 20% of household income groups in our country. These targets are part of our broader commitment to promote inclusivity and equality in higher education. We regularly monitor and assess the academic progress and graduation rates of our students. To prevent academic difficulties, we offer academic support from the Griya Khadijah Scholarship and Bakti FEB for students. We also provide lecturers’ support for academic counseling and assistance, to facilitate them in completing their studies at the University.
