Relationships with NGOs and government for SDG policy
SDGs Center at UNAIR plays a crucial role in the development of national policies aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), closely collaborating with the Ministry of Planning and Development of Indonesia. As a higher education, we are trying to realize the SDGs, as outlined in Presidential Regulation Number 111 of 2022 for human rights, equality, and comprehensive development. Thus, our participation in identifying challenges, co-creating strategies, and adapting policies to meet regional and national targets by 2030 is important. In the healthcare sector, we demonstrate our commitment by providing the “Merah Putih Vaccine” for Covid-19, which is widely administered in East Java. Collaborating with the Pamekasan Government, we also contributed to sustaining antibodies during the pandemic. This effort not only highlights our problem-solving role but also underscores our involvement in dynamic crisis management, ensuring the health and future resilience of our nation.
