SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

In tackling the plastic waste problem, Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) formed regulations in Rector’s Regulation Number 2904/UN3/2019 and Circular Letter Number 3410/UN3.1.10/TU/2019 for reducing single-use drinking bottles. Bottled-water with single use packaging and plastic bags are prohibited since 2019 throughout the campus food court. As an alternative, the university provides drinking water dispensers and glasses in any office as well as meeting rooms. Most of our faculties have also supported these policies by providing tumblr for lecturers and staffs which must be brought in any activities including meetings.
