Employment practice living wage
All the staff and faculty of Universitas Airlangga are paid appropriately regarding the Regional Minimum Wage in Eastern Java as regulated in the East Java Governor Decree’s Number 188/889/KPTS/013/2022. It’s also supported by the Rector Decree’s Number 1413/UN3/2019 of the Lecturer Wages and Permanent Education Strength which regulates the monthly take-home pay for lecturers remains in line with the East Java Minimum Wage. Moreover, Rector Decree’s Number 44 of 2022 (Fees and Service Standards of Academic Enterprise Units and Commercial Enterprise Units) regulates the additional of the basic salary. Therefore, each lecturer and trainee is facilitated with meal and transport allowance, holiday or end-of-year benefit, health insurance, and workload incentive paid on a monthly basis.
