Airlangga University repurposes brownfield sites for constructing new facilities. The Amphitheater, a spacious performances area of 1,853.59 m2, was formerly a parking lot for the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. Additionally, the central canteen in Campus B was once an unused lecturers residential area and is now equipped with a rooftop Park and FoodPoint areas. The Faculty of Law has established a new structure on previously unused land for academic space functions. However, our future plan is to relocate the Faculty of Vocational Studies to the Faculty of Humanities current building, to fill out the empty buildings. This underscores Universitas Airlangga’s commitment to sustainable building practices.
