Lifelong Learning Measures

Universitas Airlangga has programmes addressed for those facing difficulty in accessing higher education. The Directorate of Career Development, Entrepreneurship Incubation, and Alumni, they collaborate to provide variety of free certified courses. Otherwise, anyone could enroll online classes covering areas such as research mapping, literature review, and design. We ensure the best educational experience by providing public access to a well-equipped library, regular guest lectures by faculty, and electronic resources. The Scholar UNAIR website also grants access to numerous academic journal publications. Additionally, through the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), we offer a range of accessible courses for everyone. Our faculty of Economics and Business organises the Entrepreneurship and Career Workshop (ECW) as well, to guide eveyone who is keen to start a business.

Universitas Airlangga hosts community development through a variety of free public seminars and courses. These educational offerings cover a wide range of subjects, including health, psychology, entrepreneurship, and career development, providing the community with valuable knowledge and skills. We have also regular expert-led seminars on a diverse array of topics like accounting, linguistics, and mental health aculties from Economics and Business, Law, Psychology, and Humanities faculties. Some experienced lecturers in their respective fields also delivered public lectures offer high-quality learning resources to the public. In addition to these initiatives, the Directorate of Education and Development also arranges training programs for university lecturers throughout Indonesia. Universitas Airlangga engages with the community by offering public events and training for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). In collaboration with Banyuwangi Regency’s Micro Enterprise and Trade Cooperative Service, we supports SMEs business in Genteng District. Moreover, the Airlangga Community Development Hub leads outreaching activities such as livestock and digital marketing training for breeders, farmers, and SMEs in Raas Island. Public speaking workshop are aimed to upskilling female online drivers collaborated with East Java Srikandi Roda Cooperative. We gladly undertake programmes to elevate education quality for non-university attendees.

Dukung Kesetaraan Gender, BEM FEB UNAIR Berikan Pelatihan pada Driver Ojol Perempuan

Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) champions educational outreach across Indonesia, aiding remote communities and street children. The SCOLAH initiative, under “Unair Mengajar,” provides playful monthly learning for East Java’s remote children, aiming to boost literacy. UNAIR’s “MBKM” program offers nine distinct activities, from internships to research, with thousands participating. Additionally, students volunteer to guide street children and support special needs children. The “Radiology Mengajar” initiative by the Radiology department refines children’s soft skills in areas like public speaking and storytelling. Overall, our students show a strong commitment to pioneering educational social opportunities.

Under Circular Letter Number 162/UN3/HM/2021, UNAIR not only prohibits discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, religion, race, culture, and minority backgrounds but also implements strict penalties for wrongdoers. Through the Student Admissions Body (PPMB), the university against discrimination or harassment based on race, color, religion, age, disability, national origin, ancestry, gender, or sexual orientation. A protective framework has been established for those who report instances of discrimination. We strictly adhere to anti-discrimination mandates, equal opportunity norms, and affirmative action directives during its admission processes.
